I'm finding that I have a huge repository of pictures on my computer, some made it on Facebook, but the point of this blog is to act like a sort of "digital baby book." And it does not have very many pictures!
Below is a slideshow of what I considered the "Best of Elsie" in the month of April. It should be in chronological order, which makes it WILD to watch how much she changes over a month.

Spring Break (paternity leave v2.0)
It's been fantastic to be able to spend time at home again. I don't have the constant desire to be home to be with Elsie, I just get to be with her when I want!
Elsie had her one month checkup on Monday. She weighed 10 lbs, 6 oz and was just shy of 22 in. long. That's up from 7lbs 3 oz, 20 in. at birth. She also got one shot, which made her scream for about 20 seconds, but not any more than that. Champ.
Her first Reds game was Monday too. The Becco carrier that we got from Dave & Joyce was IMMENSELY helpful. Didn't have to deal with a stroller, she stayed warm, it was great. I've never been more paranoid about foul balls though.

Since then we've laid low at home, venturing out for essentials. We watched some movies, took naps, spring breaked it up.
Today's another Reds game. We have to condition her from the start. ;)
We're looking forward to her first Easter. Family & friend time is enhanced with her around.

Miami Whitewater
3 weeks old
Today was the most beautiful day of the year, hands down. We took advantage of it and spent some time at Miami Whitewater. All 5 of us walked the inner loop, then Jill & I got some ice cream.

Everyone is doing very well. Elsie spends a fun portion of her day awake and looking around. Jill is recovering very well. Dad is jealous that mom gets to spend all day with her, but spring break is only a week away.
